ABOUT US
Our training and breeding facility started with a large outdoor round
arena and a couple outdoor shelters. It has grown into a full service
training and boarding facility for cutting horses which includes a small
round pen for starting colts, an indoor and outdoor arenas, and 24
stalls and runs for horses in training. There are also several pastures
and paddocks for mares, foals and young horses.
Our breeding operation started from humble beginnings with each of us
bringing seven varied horses to the herd. We have since narrowed our
focus to high quality cutting and cow horses with color and flare for
little extra pizzazz. Good horses come in all colors and there’s no
reason you can’t have a flashy one! Some of our designer colors include
Grullos, buttermilk buckskins, overo paints in black, bay, palomino and
sorrel, duns, palominos, and a roan or two on the way.
In addition to showing and proving the stallions, we also want to make
sure that our mares prove they have the ability and breeding to raise
good minded, athletic cow horses. Each year we improve our program by
keeping up to date with some of the most popular bloodlines in the
industry. We retain most of our fillies for training and promotion in
cutting and eventually add to our broodmare band.
We in invite you to come by and take a tour of our facility.

TRAINING
Chris and Connie have ridden horses most of their lives. Chris has been
riding cutting horses since 1988. He started training good quality using
horses for himself and his family early on. A few years ago he and Connie
finally decided to narrow those efforts specifically to the great minded
intelligence and athleticism of cutting horses.
While Chris began training his own horse as a youngster, his best talent
is cow horses. After training several cutting horses that went on to be sold
as great non-pro cutting horses, his primary goal now is on futurity colts.
Looking forward to aged events which start in the fall with some 4, 5, & 6
year olds, he’s also excited about some of the young horses he is working
with now.
We invite you to get your feet wet in the cutting arena. There is nothing
more exciting than watching these fine, intelligent athletic animals take
over and do their job in the cutting pen. True cow horses do it because they
like it! A good trainer just helps them do it the right way and the most
efficient. If you have a great cutting bred prospect or if you’re looking
for one, give us a call.
